Our Mission
Furry Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Cat Adoption Los Angeles organization committed to reducing the homeless cat population in Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide comprehensive medical rehabilitation, including spaying/neutering and microchipping, and to facilitate successful adoptions through a dedicated network of fosters and supporters. We believe every cat, regardless of age or physical ability, deserves a safe and permanent home.
The website isn't just an adoption gallery; it's a plea for advocacy. It positions the Furry Friends Foundation as a critical safety net in the Los Angeles animal welfare system, bridging the gap between high-intake shelters and "forever homes" through intensive medical intervention and community support.

Another Saved Kitty
Meet Alex The Amputee Saved by Furry Friends Foundation Cat
Alex is a very affectionate and curious cat who was sadly going to be put down at SEEACA due to a leg injury. His right rear limb was severely swollen. We rescued him from the shelter and took him to a clinic that specializes in surgery, where they determined that he had an old infection that had compromised the muscle tissue beyond the ability to heal. Unfortunately, the only option was amputation. This poor guy suffered for a long time, as infections can be very painful. Thankfully, he is now with a foster home during his recovery, and we hope that soon, someone will choose to adopt a cat like him through the Furry Friends Foundation or other cat rescue organizations in Los Angeles.
